The Grandparents Day celebration, held on September 24th and 25th, 2024 at Ganesh Daivajnya Hall, was a heartwarming and joyful event themed “Celebrating Our Wonderful Grandparents.” The celebration was marked by the presence of grandparents and their grandchildren.
The event began with a warm welcome from the host, followed by a lively procession of grandparents and their grandkids dancing together to the beat. A short prayer followed by a hymn and a beautiful welcome song, created a serene atmosphere.
The children showcased their love and admiration for their grandparents through heartfelt performances. They recited poems, shared meaningful messages, and expressed their affection.
The celebration also included fun games that brought a wave of laughter and excitement. Grandmothers participated in a challenge where they draped a saree in the least amount of time, while grandfathers engaged in the playful Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes game.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, and a group photograph. Refreshments were served, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and contentment. It was a truly wonderful day, and everyone left with fond memories.
