The auspicious day of 
was celebrated by the students of Vidya Vikas Academy with great reverences and devotion. This day is celebrated on the full moon day of Asadh month. The special assembly begin with the Shloka, sung by the students of class of 3ABC. Gwen Soares, student of class 5A, delivered a speech on the importance of the day. Some wonderful and inspiring quotes on teachers were shared with the students of class 5 . The students expressed their love and devotion towards the teachers by offering flowers to them. A poem was recited by Shruti Gunjal on the importance of ‘Guru’. The programme concluded with Dohe of by Avani Guinde class 3C and Sudhanshu Parab of class 5 A.
