Guru Purnima is an auspicious day that reminds us of the significance of teachers, masters and gurus in our lives. It is a day dedicated to all the spiritual and academic gurus, who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom based on Karma Yoga. Thousands of devotee’s worships and thank their gurus for the knowledge imparted by them.
To celebrate the occasion, a special assembly was conducted for the students of classes 1 to 5 on 3rd July 2023. The objective of the assembly was to show the significance of respect and reverence given to a guru.
The assembly began with Guru Mantra . The assembly also included a speech, poem and dohe (quotes). Through the assembly the students understood the importance of Gurus in our lives with the help of PPT. The students expressed their love and devotion towards the teachers by offering flowers to teachers, Principal, Vice-Principals.
After the assembly, a class activity was also conducted for the students of class 1 to 5 . Students were asked to prepare a beautiful thank you book mark for their Gurus. Students were asked to give the book mark to any one teacher or their parents.
