A Report on Herbal Garden Exhibition:
A herbal garden exhibition was held on Saturday, 29th July 2023.
The main objective of the exhibition was to create public awareness about the utilization and growing importance of medicinal plants .The focus was on spreading awareness about the benefits of herbal plants and imbibe in the children a sense of familiarity from a young age.
A variety of herbal plants from the school herbal garden such as Noni, Pimpli, Dhoop Tulsi, Curry Leaves, Manpatri, Vaikhand, Lemon Grass, Krishnavasa, Hadjod, Shatavari, Drumstick, Aloe vera, Kirayte, Insulin plant and Brahmi were displayed and the importance of each was explained by the students.
Free samples of fresh drumstick, neem and curry leaves as well as packets of dried herbs of Pimpli seeds, Kirayte, and lemon grass were distributed to parents. Herbal beverages such as lemon grass tea, Brahmi and Kokum juice were served to the visitors.
The exhibition was well appreciated by the visitors.
