Theme: Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace
International Literacy Day is celebrated annually on 8th September emphasizing the importance of literacy in upholding human dignity and rights. Various activities such as story reading, story writing, creating posters with literacy quotes and reviewing favourite books were conducted for the students of Vidya Vikas Academy to mark the occasion. These activities aimed to foster imagination, enhance story telling skills, promote critical thinking and improve writing abilities.
These activities enhanced the students’ understanding on literacy and the need for dignity, human rights and a literate sustainable society for all.
