Vidya Vikas Academy celebrated the ‘International Translation Day’ on 30th September 2024, a day which recognizes the incredible work of translators and interpreters worldwide. The theme for this year is, “Translation, an art worth protecting.” The objective of the special assembly was to promote awareness about the role of translation in promoting global communication.
Students of class 8 shared the significance of translation and how it is also a celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity. Students participated enthusiastically particularly in the quiz expanding their knowledge on how translation is essential in a world where over 7000 languages are spoken.
The assembly made students recognize the work of translators and interpreters, who are the invisible bridge between cultures and languages fostering communication and understanding.
