The students of the Life Skills Resource Room went on an excursion to Abyss Marine Aquarium in Verna on the 16th of February 2024, to get an exposure of the different variety of marine species. They reached the aquarium, got acquainted with the surroundings and clicked few pictures with the Goan sculptures. They were given their entry tickets and were taken around by the guide. The students learnt about the different aquatic species their origin and how they got their names. The children were taught the correct way to hold a few harmless species and were given an opportunity to touch and hold some of them.
Later the students had their snacks seated in the front courtyard. They were encouraged to share the different snacks carried by them. The children enjoyed the bus ride back to school.
