“Mathematics is one of the essential emanations of human spirit- a thing to be valued in and for itself like art or poetry”
On 2nd September Vidya Vikas Academy organized a Mathematics exhibition to give opportunity to budding mathematicians who wanted to express their mathematical skills by exhibiting working models, puzzles, games and presentations.
The objectives of having this exhibition were:
- To provide the inquisitive young minds with a more hands-on experience.
- To help the students to be creative and to have the practical knowledge to learn of what they have learned.
Presentation on history of numbers, Charts on types of angles, mathematics in nature, contribution of Indian mathematicians, puzzles, working model on fractions, multiplication, operation on numbers, probability wheel, Weaving patterns using Geo board, Games on BODMAS, mathematical operations, brain teasers were some of the exhibits put up by students from class 5 to 8. The entire exhibition was a fun filled experience for all.
