Vidya Vikas Academy observed National Science Day on 28th February 2023 to pay homage to Dr.C.V. Raman and his contributions to the field of Science. The theme for this year is “Global Science for Global Well being,” which reflects the nation’s increasing international visibility and significance.A special assembly was organized for the students of class 7 to highlight the importance of the day. Students began the assembly with the prayer dedicated to the scientists.This was followed by a speech by our student explaining the importance of the day. Students recited a poem on National Science Day,and a dance was performed representing various scientific phenomenons .An exciting quiz was conducted and the students responded wholeheartedly.
A Botanical excursion was previously conducted for class 6 students .Students of Class 7 prepared a collage on -’My contribution towards Mother Earth’.Class 8 students prepared posters on the Theme – Global Science for Global Well being. Science quizzes and various fun filled experiments were conducted for Class 9 students.Overall it was an enchanting experience for the students and teachers.
