“The Science of today is the technology of tomorrow.” C.V. Raman
Students at Vidya Vikas Academy observed the National Science Day with fervor, engaging in hands-on activities to explore scientific concepts. A special assembly was conducted that showcased a presentation on the importance of the day. The students crafted a Solar Cooker, anemometer, and conducted experiments demonstrating properties of air. Inclusivity was prioritized, showcased by an experiment featuring an alarm watch for students with hearing disabilities. Further activities included experiments on floating and sinking, colour mixing, and creating creatures from leaves. Emulsification demonstrations fascinated students, while natural color extraction from turmeric and beetroot inspired nature-themed paintings.
The lively day demonstrated how students are curious and creative in exploring science. It helped them to understand and enjoy its wonders even more.
