Being kind to bees is something we strive for. Keeping this in mind the month of September is dedicated to bees and observed as Bee Awareness month. In order to make students aware on the essential role bees play in keeping people and the planet healthy, and on the many challenges they face today the theme for the No Schoolbag Day was Bee Amazing.
Students came dressed in yellow and black or clothes depicting the Bee. The school corridor boards too decorated on the theme Bee Amazing. Various activities related to the Bee such as collage work, making bee files and bee headgears, drawing and colouring, action songs were conducted for students of classes 1 – 5. Students were explained about how honey is prepared by honey bees. They learned values like team work, hard work, being a true leader.
Students went home with a sweet memory of a fun filled day.
