No School Bag Day (Primary)-Global Footprints- A Tapestry of Cultures

 No School Bag Day for the Primary Section was held on 29th November 2024, with the theme “Global Footprints – A Tapestry of Cultures” aiming to foster cultural appreciation and global awareness through interactive activities.

The day was a vibrant exploration of diverse traditions and lifestyles from around the world. Students came dressed in colorful attires representing various countries, adding to the festive atmosphere. Some classes chose a specific country and organized their activities around its unique culture.

Students learned greetings and prayers in different languages, fostering an appreciation for global traditions. They prepared and tasted delicacies from various countries, with some participating in cooking sessions to bring these flavours to life. Folk tales from around the world were shared, sparking curiosity and imagination. Music and dance added rhythm to the day, as students grooved to melodies from various regions.

Mathematical problems themed around international cuisines engaged students at a higher level.

The day provided a wonderful learning opportunity, enriching their global awareness.
