Vidya Vikas Academy observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2021 to commemorate the adoption of Indian Constitution and to pay tribute to the Constituent Assembly members.
This day has a special significance for the people of India. It was on this day in the year 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted and it came into effect on 26 January, 1950
A special assembly was organised by the students of class 9 highlight the importance of the constitution and to spread thoughts and ideas of Ambedkar, who is known as the father of the Indian constitution. Naysa Mascarenhas began the assembly with the prayer and the pledge. Khushi Chaudhary and Vijia Shaikh explained the importance of the day. Shradhha Karwarkar led the gathering in reading the preamble. Tanishka Desai and Leah Costa conducted a quiz for the audience about the Constitution of India. A video was presented to bring to light some unknown facts about the Indian Constitution. The assembly concluded with a patriotic mash up by the students of class 8 and 9.
A word Puzzle activity was conducted for classes 6 to 10 to spread awareness about the values enshrined in the Preamble to the Indian Constitution
