Effective communication, mutual respect and a comprehensible understanding of what is
best for the child are the important pillars which support the foundation for good parent-
teacher relationship. Keeping this in mind, the Senior Secondary section of Vidya Vikas
Academy organised parent orientation on 24th June 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The orientation was
a sincere effort to help parents understand the importance of a child’s development and the
sensitive role of parents along with teachers, wherein the child’s learning is fostered
through combined efforts of parents, teachers and the school.
The orientation began on a thought that was as follows:
“Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in that
action.” -Mother Tereza
Welcoming parents to the new academic session, the Principal Mrs. Joble Bijoy assured
them of the school’s commitment in fortifying their child’s development. The parents were
then briefed about the examination and evaluation procedure for this academic year by the
coordinators. This was followed by an engaging session by the counsellor, wherein she
reiterated the significance of working together with parents to ensure discipline amongst
students. The session was followed by a talk on Cyber Security which gave a
comprehensive idea about the cyber threats young children may face nowadays. The
audience was also briefed about the Qfix fee payment structure. The orientation was
concluded with the vote of thanks.
