Pre-Primary Diwali Assembly

The special assembly, held on 19th October, 2023, by the Pre-Primary section aimed to celebrate Diwali, fostering cultural awareness and unity among students. The Pre-Primary premises adorned with lanterns, Diya’s, and lights created a joyous atmosphere. Rangoli patterns displayed vibrant colours, enhancing the festive ambiance. The Senior KG A & B students, eloquently outlining the festival’s significance, followed by a spectacular dance performance.

Students gained insights into the mythological and cultural importance of Diwali, emphasizing the need for an eco-friendly celebration. The event promoted teamwork, reflective learning about values like kindness and forgiveness, and an understanding of the triumph of good over evil. Additionally, the hands-on activity of creating Akash Kandeel (paper lanterns) allowed students to showcase artistic skills while grasping the cultural significance of lighting lamps during this auspicious occasion. The event encapsulated a holistic learning experience, blending cultural understanding with creative expression.
