The Pre-Primary section organized a special assembly on 15th January, 2024 to joyously celebrate the Harvest Festival, Makar Sankranti. Commencing with a prayer and hymn, Senior Kg B students took center stage, showcasing the festival’s significance and rituals using props like kites, ‘Til Gul,’ and ‘Til Ladoo’s.’ This was followed by an energetic dance performance to the rhythm of ‘Udi Udi Jaye’. A quiz was also conducted engaging students in exploring customs of Makar Sankranti.
A hands-on activity involving the creation of paper kites helped the students showcase their artistic talent.
The Makar Sankranti assembly was a memorable and enriching experience for all the students. The students learned about the importance of the festival and the diversity of Indian culture.
