Onam, the festival of happiness, peace and prosperity marks the end of Monsoon and welcomes the harvest season.
Thus, to imbibe the values and ethos of every culture and community, the students of Pre-Primary section of Vidya Vikas Academy celebrated Onam on 8th September ,2022.
The students were gracefully explained the significance of the festival and the festivities by Tr.Lizel.
Enthusiastic performers of Jr.KG A and B enacted the story of Onam festival along a traditional dance, well – co-ordinated by Tr.Ashwini.
The Pookallam, beautifully designed by the girls of Jr.KG A and B brought in the festive look of Onam. The boys of Junior KG A and B energetically demonstrated the Snake Boat Race. A quiz conducted by Tr.Ashwini further apprised the students of our cultural diversity and oneness.
