Vidya Vikas Academy hosted the much-awaited Pre -Primary Annual Sports Festival on 20th January 2024 based on the theme “Scoring for the people and the Planet” on the sprawling ground of the school campus.
Mr. Aditya R Angle, Indian Premier League Cricketer graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The afternoon began by the symbolic lighting of the torch and march past by the students of the pre-primary section. The newly formed pre – primary school band made its grand entry by displaying a tapestry of musical talent on the tunes of ‘Oh, when the saints go marching in’ contributing an unique flair to the sports festival. This was followed by the enthusiastic drill and dance performances. Further the budding sports stars participated in various races and class games with full vigour and enthusiasm. The event continuously emphasized on saving & protecting the environment through an array of games and drills. It was a delight to see the excitement with which children challenged themselves. It was a wonderful display of strength, stamina and coordination
A special game conducted for the parents attracted much applause. It was indeed a day filled with sportsmanship and memories to cherish The winners were awarded by the chief guest in the presence of Principal Mrs. Joble Bijoy, Vice Principal and Asst. Vice Principal.
The event concluded with lowering of the school flag and singing of the National Anthem followed by light refreshments.
