It was surely a Christmas to remember at Vidya Vikas Academy on 23rd December, 2022.
The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The theme for the ‘No School Bag Day’ organised on 23rd too was ‘Christmas Wonderland’. The students were dressed in red and white and enjoyed doing several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells.
A special assembly too was conducted. The programme started with a prayer followed by information about Christmas and why is it celebrated. A beautiful skit was enacted depicting the scenes of the nativity of Jesus Christ. Melodious carols were sung and dance performed enthusiastically by the students. The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. It was a joyous and amusing programme for everyone.
