It is rightly said ‘Today’s Science is tomorrow’s technology’. With a view to encourage and inculcate scientific temper among the students, the Senior Secondary section of Vidya Vikas Academy worked on these lines to put up the Annual Science Exhibition for Class 11 on 25th November, 2022.
Science has become a vital part of the modern world, without which the whole societal structure will suffer immensely. A science exhibition, being an interface of science and society contributes towards creating awareness about science as well as creating enthusiasm in students to explore the world around them.
Students were asked to give an innovative idea through their projects which would further have applications in day-to-day life and present the same through models and chart papers. Mr. Kiraan Mehta , Incubation Manager at FIIRE(Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship) from Don Bosco College of Engineering, was the chief guest for the event. The students were judged based on their communication skills, creativity, innovation and feasibility of the idea.
Students showcased their scientific fervour in many ways and related the same with everyday life. This exhibition not only honed the communication skills of students, but also polished their skills in technology and this initiative was a step forward towards their all round development.
