The year 2021 marks the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Vidya Vikas Academy celebrated this special occasion by conducting a virtual assembly. Presentation included the garlanding of Gandhiji’s portrait by the Principal and Vice-Principal’s and highlighted important instances that took place in the life of Bapu. It showcased various museums that are dedicated to Gandhi. Some famous quotes of Bapu were also shown in the video.The video was shared with students of classes 6 to 12.
The objective of this assembly was to enlighten the students about the following:-
-The importance of great leader and his contribution towards independence.
-The day also emphasizes on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a mission initiated by the Government of India on 2nd October’ 2014.
