“India is known as a land of festivals and celebrations. Lohri is one of them which is unique in its perception and significance.” It is a folk festival that marks the passing of winter and is observed the night before Makar Sankranti. People residing in Punjab attach a great importance to Lohri.
The students of Nursery A of the Pre-Primary section of Vidya Vikas Academy showcased the significance of this festival respecting nature, and natural elements, well- co-ordinated by the teacher. The tiny tots beautifully rocked to the beats of Bhangra filling everyone with joy, thrill and inspiration.
