VVA Senior Secondary Section organised a special assembly on National Education Day on the topic NEP 2020 and its perspective on education for the students of class 11 and 12 (Humanities).
Objective:
The objective of the seminar was to develop a broad range of skills to students, focusing not only on academic knowledge but also on the development of critical thinking, creativity, and practical abilities
Highlights of the talk were:
- Introduction of a flexible and multidisciplinary curriculum, allowing students to choose subjects based on their interests and fostering a more well-rounded education.
- Focus on vocational education and skill development to enhance employability and bridge the gap between education and the workforce
- Acknowledgment of the global perspective in education, preparing students to be competitive on an international level.
The session was extremely informative and insightful for the students as it provided the students an opportunity to explore skills necessary for personal and professional success in the 21st century.
