Pupils of Class 8 & 9 are afforded an unique opportunity to experience the fascinating words of the defence services. The many activities and campus provide opportunities for the development of talents and skills. The discipline and training will mould the personality and character of the pupils.
The Bharat Scouts And Guides
The school has introduced Scouting and Guiding for pupils of Classes 6 to 9. Since 2011, the pupils have been trained in varied skills and experienced life at camp-sites, on treks and hikes. Pupils will benefit from the training and discipline of this organization.
School Band
The School Band affords pupils with a talent to play a musical instrument, an opportunity to be trained by a trained musician from the army/navy/police band and to play at school functions and when invited by other schools/colleges.
School Orchestra
Pupils who are learning a musical instrument with different Music Teachers, are brought together under the banner of VIDYA VIKAS ENSEMBLE. The orchestra has performed not only for school programmes but also for public functions.
School Choir
Pupils who are able to pitch correctly will have an opportunity to develop their talents for singing, learn to sing in a group and master the finer nuances of choral singing. The School Choir has given many a brilliant performance over the years.
WIZZ & Word Power Club
Wizz & Word Power -Club is a unique opportunity for pupils to experience the fascinating world of literature and knowledge, and have an exposure to different genres of literature, be trained in public speaking, and have an opportunity to develop their talents in drama, mime, poetry writing, recitations, elocution, debates & quizzing.
Culinary Club
The Culinary Club provides an opportunity for the students to discover their passion for food, be creative and learn cooking skills. Students prepare food and enjoy eating the fruits of their labour.
Visual & Performing Arts Club
Visual & Performing Arts Club is a combination art, music, dance and handicrafts . It encourages students who are good at different creative skills. The students get an opportunity to showcase their talents / creativity. This club provides an enjoyable experience and at the same time, opportunities to come up with ideas, that enhance their creative talents.
Pi Club
Pi club will foster students to upgrade their skills and competencies in the mathematics application in a creative and innovative ways.Pupils will further enhance their techniques of critical thinking.
Heritage Club
To inculcate in students a love for their country and its rich heritage and take the legacy forward to protect and conserve every aspect of the ecosystem they live in.
Eco & Science Club
The objective of the Eco & Science and Club is to Create awareness and brings sensitivity among students about the environment and help them acquire a set of values and feelings of concern for the environment, to actively participate in environmental improvement and protection. It leads the students towards action to participate in appropriate action to help solve these problems and avoid future problems, as well as to develop a scientific temperament among the students so that they can pursue scientific knowledge in vigorous way by broadening their scientific outlook.
Astronomy Club
Whether it is Sun, Moon, Solar System, or far away galaxies, or extraterrestrial, there is so much to know and explore. The Astronomy Club aims at increasing a sense of excitement and wonder amongst the students about different celestial objects. The students will be given a hands-on experience of observing the heavenly bodies through telescopes.
