The Art Department of Vidya Vikas Academy organized a Stucco Art Workshop on 28th August 2024 as part of its Art Integration/Enrichment programme, in collaboration with the Museum of Christian Art, Goa.
The objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the traditional art of stucco, a form of sculptural decoration and foster an appreciation for heritage art forms.
Students of class 8 participated in this workshop.
Participants were guided through the process of creating intricate designs, learning techniques that combine both historical significance and artistic skill.
By the end of the session, students gained hands-on experience in stucco work, understanding its cultural importance and application in contemporary art.
The workshop successfully enriched the participants’ artistic knowledge and skills.
