Covid-19 vaccination for children between the ages of 15 and 18 began in India from Sunday, 3rd January 2022 in 159 government centres and 16 private centres. Under the Government initiative, the Urban Health Centre, Margao, conducted COVID-19 vaccination drive for the eligible students of Vidya Vikas Academy, Margao Goa on 6th January, 2022.
Students were given specific time slots to avoid overcrowding and all the necessary SOPs were taken by the school authorities for the smooth conduct of the vaccination drive. A total of 156 students were administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
