SUMMER CAMP – Pre-Primary Section

Vidya Vikas Academy successfully hosted a vibrant and engaging Summer Camp for students of the pre-primary section from April 15, 2024 to April 26, 2024. This enriching ten-day camp was filled with a plethora of activities designed to foster creativity, musical skills, and physical coordination among young learners.

Activities and Highlights: The camp schedule was thoughtfully crafted to include a variety of hands-on activities and educational fun. Key highlights included:

  • Art and Craft: Children unleashed their creativity through innovative art projects such as bubble wrap painting, bookmark making, and thread painting. These activities not only encouraged artistic expression but also helped in developing fine motor skills and cognitive abilities.
  • Music: The music sessions covered an exciting mix of genres including Bollywood, country, and various summer-themed songs. Interactive musical activities and games were conducted.
  • Dance: Dance sessions were thoroughly enjoyed by the students, featuring choreographies set to Bollywood and English mashup songs. These sessions were pivotal in boosting the children’s enthusiasm and joy, while also promoting physical activity and coordination.

Fun Fair Event: The culmination of the camp was marked by a grand Fun Fair event on the last day.The “gurukul” area was festooned with vibrant decorations.

  • Games and Food Stalls: Various game and food stalls were set up, providing a delightful experience. These included both fun games and tasty, healthy food options emphasizing the importance of including fruits and healthy snacks in their diet.
  • Tattoo Activity: A special tattoo-making activity using safe, non-toxic acrylic colors was a big hit among the kids, adding to the festive atmosphere.
  • Dance Sessions: The day ended with energetic dance sessions where children grooved to popular tunes, showcasing the dance skills they had honed during the camp.

The Summer Camp was a memorable experience for all participants, filled with learning, play, and creativity. It not only provided a platform for children to explore various arts but also helped in building their social and physical skills. The success of the camp promises even more exciting and innovative activities in future editions to ensure the holistic development of the students.
