Vidya Vikas Academy, Margao held its annual investiture ceremony of Senior Secondary officials for the academic year 2024-25 in the month of July.
The candidates were nominated for the posts of General Secretary (Boy & Girl), Discipline Secretary (Boy & Girl), Sports Secretary andClass Prefects, based on a fixed criteria.

The Investiture Ceremony was scheduled on 27th July, 2024 at 8:30 am in the VVA School Hall. The ceremony commenced with the March of the Student Council with band followed by traditional lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Vice-Principal, General Secretary (Girl & Boy), and their parents. Thereafter, the newly elected officials were administered the Oath by the Principal Mrs. Joble Bijoy, in the presence of the staff and the parents of the officials.
Each elected official expressed their thoughts about how they plan to be a school ambassador followed by lighting of the candles. They all sang a song “This Little Guiding Light” as a sign of acknowledgement of the responsibility that lies ahead. The General Secretary (Girl) proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Anthem.
