In October 2024, the STEAM Lab activities for Classes 1 to 6 focused on hands-on projects integrating multiple STEAM disciplines.
Class 1 explored rocks, shapes, and textures, introducing students to basic geology and tactile sensory exploration, fostering curiosity about natural materials and spatial awareness. Class 2 engaged with “Pet Rocks” and conducted tactile exploration with different surfaces, enhancing their understanding of textures and material properties through sensory play.
Class 3 experimented with weight balance and created LED circuits, developing an appreciation for balance in physical systems and basic electronic components. Class 4 focused on basic electronics, learning about cells and batteries to understand the principles of energy storage and power.
Class 5 conducted buoyancy testing, exploring the principles of density and flotation, and gaining hands-on experience with physics concepts. Class 6 investigated static electricity and experimented with good and bad conductors, deepening their knowledge of electric charge, conductivity, and material properties.
These activities nurtured creativity, practical skills, and interdisciplinary learning, providing valuable experiences that bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
