In observance of World Cancer Day, class 11 students organized a comprehensive awareness event on February 5th. The assembly kicked off with an explanation of the significance of the day, focusing on the importance of spreading awareness about cancer.
Dr. Aanjaneya Kamat delivered an enlightening talk on cancer symptoms, causes, and preventive measures.The audience gained valuable insights into recognizing early signs, understanding contributing factors, and adopting lifestyle changes to reduce cancer risk.
As part of the campaign, a documentary on cancer was shown to students in classes 6-11, enhancing their understanding of cancer challenges and advancements. Additionally, a class 11 essay competition on “Advancement in Cancer Treatment” encouraged students to explore the latest developments in the field.
The event successfully combined education and engagement, contributing to the ongoing global effort to raise awareness about cancer.
