The World Nature conservation Day was celebrated at Vidya Vikas Academy dated Saturday, 28th July 2023. The World Nature conservation Day , was observed through organisation of a special assembly by the Senior Secondary students of Vidya Vikas Academy. The assembly aimed to instil within students, teachers’, and staff the sense of realisation and responsibility towards the conservation of Mother nature. The World Nature conservation Day celebration was marked by the presentation of a documentary on ‘Voice of Nature’ which aimed at instilling within the pupil and staff the urge to conserve and protect nature while utilising its resources in a diligent and sustainable manner. The students were briefed about the theme of World Nature conservation Day for the year 2023 – ‘Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet’ and its significance followed by a mime on nature Conservation by the students of class 12.
The day has been significant in disseminating the motive of enlightening the pupil and the staff about the value of Nature conservation.
