The special assembly on World Poetry Day was coordinated by the students of class 12, annually celebrated on March 21 the celebration endeavored to promote the art of poetry.
The assembly underscored the significance of poetry in our lives. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their creativity by reciting self-composed poems. This segment of the assembly allowed individuals to share their unique perspectives and insights through the art of poetry followed by a video, featuring highlights from Poetry Day celebrations worldwide. The assembly concluded with an engaging poetry activity, beginning with the recitation of the first few lines of a poem, the audience was encouraged to complete the verses themselves, promoting creativity and interaction among attendees.
Overall, the assembly succeeded in its goal of promoting cultural understanding, creativity, and community engagement through the universal language of poetry.
