Activity of the Month- Donation Drive- Sneha Dhara
The Outreach Committee and Sneha Dhara team from Vidya Vikas Academy organized a donation drive from 10th to 18th December 2024 to support an Old Age Home.
The school launched an awareness campaign with posters, announcements, and collection points. Students actively participated by donating clothes and groceries. A team of 5 staff and 28 students visited the Old Age Home on 23rd December 2024. They conducted a prayer service, interacted with the elderly, and performed activities like dancing, skits, and carol singing. Christmas gifts were distributed, bringing joy to the residents.
This initiative underscored the significance of giving, recognizing one's privileges, and creating a positive impact. It was a valuable and enriching experience for everyone involved. The project highlighted the importance of community support and empathy.
