Pre - Primary NSBD - Festival Fiesta
The No School Bag Day was celebrated on 31st January 2025 with a vibrant Festival Fiesta theme, focusing on India’s rich harvest festivals like Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and Lohri. The event aimed to educate students about the cultural significance of these festivals while engaging them in fun-filled activities.
The celebration was filled with traditional music, dance, and storytelling, showcasing the unique customs of each festival. Students participated in games like passing the Pongal Pot, Harvest Relay immersing themselves in the festive spirit. Special discussions highlighted the importance and gratitude towards farmers .
Through this initiative, students not only enjoyed a bag-free day but also gained a deeper appreciation for India's diverse traditions and the role of harvest festivals in uniting different communities.
The take away were vibrant Sun headgears , Pongal Pots , creative kolam designs and Lohri stick puppets handcrafted by the little ones .
