Career Based Excursion 2- Class 9
On 3rd February 2025, the Class 9 students of Vidya Vikas Academy embarked on an enriching excursion to two distinct destinations as per their career choice. The objective of this excursion aimed to expose students to diverse career opportunities in the fields of shipbuilding and agriculture.
At Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR), Old Goa the students learnt about scientific research in agriculture, sustainable farming techniques, and advancements in crop production. At the Shipbuilding Institute of Technology, Vasco, the students gained knowledge of shipbuilding processes, including design, construction, and maintenance of vessels.
The major highlights like exposure to tools, machinery, and innovative techniques in both fields helped students understand practical applications of their academic studies and fostered a sense of community and outdoor exploration for personal development.
The Exposure to industry professionals which inspired students to consider diverse career options in engineering and agricultural sciences was the major takeaway of this excursion. Overall, it was a memorable experience for all our students.
