Visit to ONGC, Betul – 12th February 2025
The Computer Science students of Senior Secondary section of class 11 visited ONGC (ATI), Betul, Goa on 12th February 2025. The aim was to provide students with practical exposure to oil and gas exploration, fire safety, and environmental conservation.
Students learned about offshore drilling and the various environmental safety measures taken by ONGC to minimize pollution, including advanced spill prevention systems and eco-friendly drilling techniques. Additionally, a doctor conducted a hands-on CPR training, demonstrating life-saving techniques for emergency situations.
The visit underscored the significance of industrial safety, environmental sustainability, and disaster preparedness while also introducing students to career opportunities in the energy sector.
