Vidya Vikas Academy conducted an enriching educational tour for students of Classes 6 to 8 to the scenic and culturally rich region of Coorg, Karnataka, from the 4th to 7th of November 2024. A total of 67 students participated in this memorable journey, exploring a variety of significant cultural, historical, and natural landmarks.
The educational tour aimed to offer students a blend of adventure, learning, and exposure to the region’s heritage. The following key attractions were included in the itinerary: Talakaveri, Dubare elephant camp, General Thimayya Museum, Madalapatty, Raja’s Seat, Namdroling Golden Temple, Abby Falls, Coffee Plantation and Hanging bridge.
The educational tour proved to be an excellent opportunity for students to gain knowledge about Coorg’s unique culture, history, and environment. They not only learned about the region’s rich heritage but also developed essential life skills such as independence, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students took on the responsibility of managing their belongings, following the schedule, and working together as a team—skills that will benefit them in the future.
