Vidya Vikas Academy, Margao held its annual elections for school officials for the academic year 2022-23 in the month of July. The entire procedure and the code of conduct of the election process was observed to familiarize the students with the democratic set up.
The candidates were nominated for the posts of General Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Secretary, Sports Secretary, Class Representatives and Assistant Class Representatives. The nominated candidates canvassed on 22nd July 2022, displaying their symbols, delivering speeches and persuading the voters to vote for them. 23rd July 2022 was the polling day, wherein the students of class 11 & 12 voted through a secret ballot, in the presence of the staff on duty by ticking against the name and symbol of the candidate of their choice on the ballot paper. Opening of ballot boxes and counting of votes took place on the same day in the presence of the candidates and the election committee. Elections for the post of Class Representatives and Assistant Class Representatives were held on 25th July 2022 in their respective classes.

The investiture ceremony was scheduled on 30th July, 2022 at 8.30 a.m. in the VVA school hall. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Thereafter, the school officials were administered the oath by the Principal, Mrs. Joble Bijoy, in the presence of the staff and the parents of the school officials. Each school official expressed their thoughts about how they plan to be a school ambassador. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks by the General Secretary (Girl) Tiya Naik
