Curious Minds at Work
Students explored the principles of Mechanics by building a Magnetic Crane, gaining a practical understanding of magnetic force and simple machines through hands-on learning.
The Bridge Building Challenge encouraged students to discover how thoughtful design and engineering concepts contribute to the strength and stability of structures.
The Bottle Popper activity introduced the concept of air pressure through an exciting experiment that sparked curiosity and encouraged careful observation. Students investigated the fascinating concept of magnetic levitation and discovered how magnetic forces can create motion without direct physical contact.
The Mechanical Windmill activity demonstrated how wind energy can be converted into mechanical motion, allowing students to understand the concept through model building.
The month concluded with enriching STEAM experiences that nurtured creativity, strengthened engineering and critical-thinking skills, and encouraged collaboration and teamwork.
