Threads of Tradition: Celebrating India’s Weaving Heritage
Threads of Tradition was conducted to create awareness among students about India’s rich weaving traditions and textile heritage that aimed to help students understand the importance of traditional weaving and appreciate the skill and dedication of artisans.
The programme highlighted the cultural significance of traditional fabrics and their role in preserving India’s diverse heritage. Students learned about the dedication of weavers and the importance of supporting locally made products, it encouraged them to respect traditional crafts and understand the need to preserve these valuable practices for future generations.
