A Day of Pride, A Legacy of Freedom

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervour. The programme commenced with the rendition of the National Song, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem.

A significant highlight of the celebration was the solemn pledge-taking ceremony of the NCC cadets, symbolizing their commitment to discipline, responsibility, and service to the nation. The cultural programme added vibrancy to the occasion with patriotic songs, thought-provoking speeches and a graceful dance performance. Students were also felicitated for their achievements in sports and extracurricular activities.

The celebration provided an opportunity to reflect upon the significance of independence and the responsibilities of citizenship.
