As part of the National Librarian’s Day Celebration 2026, an interactive session on “Developing Critical Thinking Through Reading” was conducted for the students by a creative writer.

The session highlighted how reading helps students question, analyse, evaluate information, and form independent opinions. Through engaging discussions and examples, students were encouraged to explore different perspectives, think critically, and strengthen their reasoning skills.

The session was an enriching experience that emphasised the role of reading in nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
