Texture Art has always been a powerful way to express ideas, emotions and stories. Texture is one of the key elements of art, referring to the surface quality of an object (How it feels or appears to feel). Texture art provided students with a hands-on, sensory-rich experience that support their artistic development. Students were encouraged to experimentation with mixed media and to open up new forms of artistic expression. Students paid more attention to detail surface qualities and materials helping them to interpret. As it’s been an exciting medium to learn and explore.
