Clay Moulding – Garden Insects

“Creativity is a natural extension of our enthusiasm.” – Earl Nightingale
Clay art modeling is a fun art activity that involves the sculpting and moulding of modeling clay into a variety of shapes and objects. It nurtures a child’s creativity, boosts imagination and imbibes self-confidence.
Clay moulding activity was conducted for classes 1-5 for the month of September. The theme of the activity was ‘Garden Insects’ wherein the students participated enthusiastically.

Students had to use clay or dough to make any garden insects like grasshopper, ladybug, butterfly, snail, etc.
Pictures of the activity were collected and uploaded in an album on our school campus management V Connect software.
This activity was a perfect platform for creative minds to meet their colourful interests. It helped the students to stimulate their imagination, enhance creativity, eye –hand coordination and develop their motor skills.
It also created awareness about various garden insects. The students used their imagination and creativity to make and decorate the models made from clay.
